Jake began his career in the early nineties designing book covers. Moving into the world of interactive design in 1996, Jake worked at one of Sydney’s premium new media houses. Here he worked on accounts such as St George, David Jones, ninemsn, Optus and NSW Tourism.
From there Jake became Online Art Director at Fairfax, overseeing the design of some of Australia’s most visited sites, including the SMH, The Age, AFR, Domain, Drive, RugbyHeaven and MyCareer.
Jake now runs Blue Cork full time, and has worked with clients such as Coles Myer, Deutsche Bank, InfoChoice, SelecTV, News Digital Media and The University of Sydney.
Luke Causby has ten years experience as a graphic designer. During this time, he held an important role at HarperCollins Publishers managing both the Sports and Religious lists. He has been shortlisted on three occasions in the Australian Publishers Association Book Design Awards.
From 2003 to 2005 he worked in London for a small design company called Two Associates, where he produced book covers for such clients as Faber & Faber, Pan Macmillan, Random House, Weidenfeld & Nicolson, Pluto Press and the BBC.
